St. Jude Thaddeus Parish

Saint Jude Thaddeus Parish in Concepcion Grande, Naga City, was canonically erected on June 28, 1997 upon the recommendation of Rev. Msgr. Juan Alarcon the then-parish Parish Priest of Immaculate Concepcion Parish and upon the advice of Fr. Rogelio Largoza the Vicar Forane of the St. John the Evangelist Parish. The Rev. Fr. Jose Roberto Z. Carpio, a former resident-formator of the Holy Rosary Major Seminary was installed as its First Parish Priest.
Prior to the canonical erection of the parish, Rev. Msgr. Juan Alarcon Jr. parish priest of the Immaculate of Conception, saw the need of founding a new parish in the view of the rapidly increasing population in these particular areas of the parish. Thus, he proposed to the Archbishop the creation of a parish considering the pastoral care and spiritual welfare of the faithful belonging to the barangays Concepcion Grande and Del Rosario.
